This recipe is from Sherry Yard's The Secrets of Baking. From bottom to top, there is a chocolate short dough, a whipped caramel cream, chocolate glaze, and a vanilla tuile.

This recipe comes from the book Celebrate With Chocolate, by Marcel Desaulniers. I followed the recipe, except that I used the crust from the Cook's Illustrated lemon bar recipe, and omitted the lemon balm from the icing.
